People can tell, when you autobell.

Khloe, my niece and Emma, waiting at auto bell.

My SIL called today and told me that there was a Auto Bell GRAND OPENING about 20 minutes away from my house and they we're doing FREE CAR WASHES! Nothing excites a mom more than a FREE car wash. (or maybe I'm just weird and lazy) So, of course I jumped up, nappy head and all and drove 20 minutes to get my free car wash.

Welp, they had this sign before you pulled in that said "All unwanted trash, please throw in floor." I did. When I got back in my car, guess where all that trash was? In my seat. Are you serious, foo'? I just drove my nappy head 20 minutes down the road to get my free car wash, when there is an auto bell beside my apartment (it wouldn't have been free), for you to throw my trash in my seat?

My new life lessons on that;
1. Quit being so dang lazy and comb that nappy head before you get out in public.
     - Maybe that's why they didn't throw my trash away. They wanted to get me in and out of there asap, I must have been scaring them away.
2. Clean my own car, for free.
3. Never go to a free car wash. What should I expect? it was free.

Kaelan, being cute :)

Messy Rooms & Rainbows

My silly girl, Emma.

So, today was the day that I've dreaded for about 2 weeks. I had to go through all of our totes in the closet, and get out the summer clothes. I got them all out, but they are still laying in Emmas bedroom floor. Poor kid wont even play in her own room its so messy.

Hubby wanted me to go to blockbuster and rent Happy Feet (because he has never watched it, and has been aggravating me since the day that we got married, to rent it. now that we have kids that's his excuse.) and another animated movie, for some reason I cant remember the name. Anywho, I walked out and saw a beautiful rainbow!

Then, it was at the end of our road, and I totally held up traffic to take a picture. I know, I'm a dork.

Where have I been, you ask?
And, the answer to that is, Myrtle Beach.

Jordan kept the girls, all weekend. While I enjoyed a beautiful weekend at the beach, husband and baby free. How lucky am I, right? I did have a great time, but I did miss my babies and my husband.

The last 3 times I've been to the beach, I've been pregnant.  I wasn't really the one who would flaunt my bump in a string bikini.

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Weekend/Monday Recap.

Oh boy, what a weekend it was. Friday, Jordan and I decided to pull Emmas twin size mattress out into the living room & watch movies. Well, it didn't end up going back to where it belonged until today, which is Monday. This weekend I was totally not myself. I didn't clean up after us, and the end result was a disaster.

I spend two hours, no exaggeration at all, cleaning the living room and dinning room. And, I live in a apartment that's less than 900 sq ft. I did everything that needed to be done, tho (in the living room and dining room). Then, I decided to take a little break which usually means, once my tush hits this couch, good luck getting me back up. That probably would have been the thing I did until DUN DUN DUNNN, my mother in law called and said she was on her way over.

I had less than 25 minutes to clean my kitchen, the girls room and get the girls looking decent. I did it, and I am extremely proud of myself, I was also extremely exhausted after that. They took Emma to K-Mart and bought her some new toys (more mess for me, YAY!) but, of course that's what grandparents are for, right?

After all that excitement, it was time to cook dinner, then Jordan requested that I bake a cake, so of course I did. Now my clean kitchen & living room is no more. On the bright side, it looks better than it did this morning.. So, all I have to do tomorrow is my usual pick-up, and attempt to catch on laundry.

In other news, the girls are doing great. Emma is SO obsessed with Dora that its became crazy. She walks around the house going "do do do do Dory". (keep in mind she is only 18 mons. old) She has to have on her Dora pajamas, at ALL times, or she is not happy. OH, and the in-laws bought her Dora shoes today and she is absolutely in LOVE.

Little Kaelan is staying awake a lot more now. She is cooing like crazy, and demands attention at all times. She has a check up next Tuesday, and I'm so excited to see how much shes grown since last time. I'm going to call tomorrow to try to get Emmas 18 month check up on the same day, hopefully they will work with me.

I hope everyones Monday was as hectic as mine :)
